How are matches made?
Once you submit a request, we review your needs and deliver a shortlist of professionals who match your preferences, budget, and event type. You can view their profiles, compare options, and move forward confidently — all in one place.
How quickly can I expect matches after submitting a request?
We aim to send you a shortlist within 5 business days. Sometimes sooner. Our team reviews each request to ensure we're recommending professionals who truly align with your needs — not just who's available. If your request is urgent, be sure to mark it as such and we'll prioritize it accordingly.
For Freelancers
How do I get booked?
Once you're matched to a job, we'll reach out to check your availability. You'll have 24 hours to confirm. If confirmed, we'll share final details and connect you with the client to finalize terms.
Do I have to accept every job?
Not at all. You're in full control. Only say yes to what aligns with your goals and availability.
Can I set my own rates?
Absolutely. You set your rate, and clients see it before hiring. We believe in transparency and respect for your time and value.

How much does CAKE cost?
During our early access phase, it's completely free to sign up. We're currently offering invite-only matches as we test and grow with a trusted group of early users.
Once we launch fully, CAKE will become a paid platform — with flexible membership options tailored to how you work, whether you're looking to stay open to aligned gigs or book consistently.
